Strategic & Ongoing Tax Advisory

Tax advice that starts with understanding your business

Tax questions rarely arise in isolation. They usually result from business decisions — a new contract, a change in the operating model, an investment, financing, a transaction or new regulatory requirements. We help companies understand the tax consequences of their decisions before they are implemented, identify potential risks and find solutions that take into account both Polish tax regulations and the client’s business objectives. We also provide ongoing tax support to management boards, CFOs, finance and accounting teams, giving them access to experienced tax advice whenever a tax question arises in the course of business.

Strategic advice when your business is changing

Some tax questions arise because the business itself is changing.

A company may be entering a new market, introducing a new product or service, changing its contractual relationships, modifying transaction flows, making a significant investment or considering a different operating model.

In such situations, tax should be considered before the business decision is implemented.

We help clients understand how different options may affect their tax position, identify potential risks and assess whether the contemplated structure works from a Polish tax perspective.

Where the planned change requires a broader corporate or ownership reorganisation, we can also support the client through our Business Restructuring & Reorganisations services.

Not every tax issue requires a separate project.

Many of our clients need access to an experienced tax advisor who understands their business and can provide practical support as questions arise.

We provide ongoing tax advisory services tailored to the client’s needs. This may include reviewing contracts or transactions, answering questions from management or finance teams, assessing unusual business situations, explaining changes in tax regulations or helping the client determine whether a particular issue requires further analysis.

The model is simple: when a tax question arises, our clients know who to call.

We start by understanding the business context and the decision the client needs to make.

Depending on the matter, our work may involve analysing tax regulations and case law, reviewing contracts and other documentation, discussing the issue with the client’s management or finance team and comparing possible approaches.

We aim to explain both the tax position and its practical implications clearly.

Where there is uncertainty, we identify it. Where several approaches are possible, we explain the differences and associated risks. Where additional tax certainty is appropriate, we may recommend obtaining an individual tax ruling or another available form of protection.

Our objective is to give the client enough clarity to make an informed business decision — not simply provide a theoretical analysis of the tax regulations.
